Spacious (480 sq ft with an open design), hand-crafted log cabins are visually isolated to enhance guest privacy and constructed for high energy efficiency. Solar-powered units deliver lighting and efficient wood stoves provide heat in each of the three cabins.
Each cabin is equipped with a queen-sized bed, sofa (Cabin #3) or double fold-down futon (Cabins #1 and #2), rocker chair, a full bath (tub/shower unit with hot and cold running water and indoor plumbing!), a wood burning stove and double propane burner for complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate. We provide all bedding and linen, and kindling and firewood is stacked on the deck for use in the stove.
As we are in a relatively remote location and we don’t want to encourage Mother Nature’s less lovable creatures to investigate a cabin, there is no cooking allowed in our cabins. Laura’s private cook house, a simple, rustic frame structure located a short distance away from the cabins, is used by your hosts and helpers to prepare food for themselves, family and friends but isn’t open to the general public.
